About Arbok™

Arbok™ has developed patented desalination technology with the following advantages compared to SWRO.

Arbok`s only business is producing water for clients using elegantly simple, yet innovative technology

Any membranes

It doesn`t use any membranes which are susceptible to fouling and damage from oxidation.

Desalination

Desalination is accomplished by changing the phase (states) of saline waterat regular pressure with low energy consumption.

Our plans

The plants can be assembled in just several months and require just 300 m of space per 2,750 m of water/day.

No chemicals

The technology does not require pre- and post-processing or chemicals.

ZLD

Arbok`s desalination process produces potable water with zero liquid discharge (ZLD)

Equipment

The equipment is simple and relatively inexpensive, with low-maintenance and long-life advantages.

FINANCIAL BENEFITS

Arbok`s low-temperature vapor desalination technology desalts water for less than 60% of the energy required for brackish water reverse osmosis. For a 6,000 m3/day plant operating with an electrical cost of US 0.20/kWhr, an Arbok Plant would produce a yearly savings in electricity of more than US $475,000 compared to brackish water reverse osmosis.

Under Arbok`s BOO operating model, absolutely NO UPFRONT CAPITAL is required from our clients for the desalination equipment. Customers only pay for what they need...Fresh Water! We design your water treatment facility and make the investment for the desalination plant equipment, saving you upfront capital. All plant operations, maintenance, repairs, labor, management and any associated overheads costs are theresponsibility of Arbok, reducing client operating costs while providing improved technical performance.

Arbok Plants have low energy consumption, no consumable items, few moving parts and low maintenance costs. These reduced operating costs allow us to produce water for you at very affordable rates.

96.5% recovery of your feed water can translate in up to 75% reduced water supply and waste water disposal costs

LOGISTICAL BENEFITS

The plants can be installed and operating in a few short months. Arbok plants are scalable and structural elements can be added for increased water production. Standard plant sizes are presently 1,000 - 20,000 M3/day (264,000 - 5,280,000 Gal per day). Larger plant designs are possible.

Because Arbok units create no brine waste stream, there is no need for expensive and lengthy environmental studies and permits for brine discharge that are required in most jurisdictions

Arbok units operate at atmospheric pressure. There are none of the noise, pulsation and dangers associated with high pressure pumps so they don`t require being isolated. Arbok can treat unconventional water sources very efficiently.

ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS

Our technology is unique, truly green and environmentally safe. All incoming feed water (100%) is desalinated. There is NO concentrated brine stream returned to the ocean which can be potentially harmful to sensitive marine life.

Arbok technology desalts water for less than 60% of the energy required for brackish water reverse osmosis. Arbok`s Cyprus plant produces 136 PPM TDS product water from a feed water of 10,800 PPM TDS for less than 1.5 kwHr/m3 including well pump and all auxiliary power. State of the art Reverse Osmosis would require over 3.5 kWhr/m3. This much lower electrical consumption creates a significantly smaller carbon footprint resulting in about half the CO2 emissions. The energy consumption is so low that Arbok plants can be practically powered with renewable energy sources.
